Smithfield – James Thomas Renfrow, age 78, died early Friday morning, June 23, 2017 in Johnston UNC Health in Smithfield. Born June 29, 1938 in Wilson County he was a son of the late Edgar Thomas and Lucille Layton Renfrow. James was a member of Selma Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church in Selma.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 25, 2017 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Norris officiating. Burial will follow in Hills of the Neuse Memory Garden. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Sunday just prior to the service.
Surviving are his wife, Carol Renfrow of the home; son, Timothy Allen Starling of Selma; and brother, David Urquhart and wife Becky of Selma.
