Benson, NC: Mrs. Janie Lou McLamb Fowler, age 84, of 405 W. Woodall Street passed away Monday at her residence. A memorial service will be held 6:00PM Thursday at Benson Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Glenn McCullen will officiate.
Mrs. Fowler was born May 29, 1933 in Johnston County to the late Ishom Bruce and Almeta McLamb. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Earl Fowler; and a great grandson, Conner Ryan Hodges. Mrs. Fowler was a homemaker and a member of Benson Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving are children & spouses, Sharon Ann Keen, Linda Fowler Jones & husband, Bob, Susan Earle Fowler, and Edward “Eddie” Earl Fowler, Jr. and wife, Susan; eight grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
