Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Jasper Dwight “Porky” Hudson, age 65, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Johnston UNC Health Care in Smithfield. Graveside Funeral Services will be 11:00AM Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Barbour’s Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery, 164 Barbour’s Chapel Church Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524. Rev. Gary Killebrew will officiate.
Mr. Hudson was born on July 18, 1955 in Harnett County to the late E. Jasper and Louise Hall Hudson. Mr. Hudson was the owner and operator of Hudson Hauling and ran Porky’s Billiard’s in Four Oaks for many years. He attended Ignite Bible Fellowship Church.
Surviving include his wife of 38 years, Linda Hicks Hudson; son, Stacey Wayne Hudson and wife, Alva; daughters, April Champagne and husband, Arty, Susan Crocker and husband, Charlie, and Renee Fagerberg and husband, Dennis; grandchildren, Jordan, Jasmine, Markice, Malik, Cylas, Hollyn, Brooklynn, Lauryn, Jayce, Dillon, Samantha, Cody, and Zachary; and great-grandchildren, Caleb and Layla.
Mr. Hudson will be available for viewing and you may sign the register book from 3:00PM to 8:00PM on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks. The family will not be present during this time.
In accordance with NC-COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W’s: wait, wash, and wear a face covering.
