Dunn, NC: Mrs. Jean Carolyn Allen Ennis, age 79, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at her daughter’s residence. Graveside Funeral Services will be 10:00AM-Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Harnett Devotional Gardens outside Dunn, NC. Rev. Randy Beasley will officiate.
Mrs. Ennis was born on November 2, 1941 in Harnett County to the late Jeffery and Bessie Hodges Allen. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathy Holmes, sister, Elizabeth Barefoot and a brother, Bruce Allen. Mrs. Ennis retired from Tomahawk Farms and was a homemaker. Her greatest loves were her family, cooking and watching nature.
Surviving include her husband of 53 years, Lynwood Larry Ennis; daughters, Pamela Ennis Coats and Bill Spruill; Peggy Ennis Faircloth and John Willis; and Terri Jo Ennis Allen and husband, Stacey; grandchildren, Jason Jackson and wife, Cassie; Ashlyn Allen and Colton Allen; great-grandchildren, Chase Carter, Gracie Wallace, Cameron Carter, Cailey Jackson and Carolyn Jackson.
The family will receive friends immediately following the Graveside Service on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Harnett Devotional Gardens, Dunn, NC and other times at the home of Pamela Ennis Coats, 900 Duke Street, Erwin, NC 28339.
