Wilson’s Mills – Jeffery Charles Parrish, age 54, passed away Tuesday February 16, 2021 at Wake Med Hospital in Raleigh.
He was born in Johnston County on October 3, 1966 to B. Charles and Carolyn Capps Parrish. Mr. Parrish is preceded in death by his father.
A funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home Saturday February 20, 2021 at 7 PM with Rev. Curtis Pierce officiating. The family will receive visitors at Parrish Funeral Home on Saturday from 5 PM to 7 PM with the memorial service to follow.
Mr. Parrish is survived by wife of 19 years, Mandy Ellis Parrish of Wilson’s Mills; mother, Carolyn Parrish; son, Blane Parrish of the home; daughter, Amber Parrish Casey, of Princeton; sister, Amy Parrish; grandson, Liam Casey; nephew, Eli Eguia.
Mr. Parrish had racing in his blood as it was a family tradition. He could build a car from the ground up. He was a multiple time track champion and IHRA world champion and had been racing since he was 14 years old.
