Jimmy Ray Wallace, age 83, of Smithfield passed away on December 16, 2020 at the SECU Hospice House. Born in Johnston County on October 12, 1937, he was the son of the late Joseph Victor and Monevah Barbour Wallace.
Mr. Wallace served in the US Army and was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church. He established Jimmy R. Wallace Photography Studio in 1967 and was associated with the studio until 2019. He was a member of Fellowship Masonic Lodge # 84 in Smithfield.
The family is planning a private graveside service at a later date.
Mr. Wallace is survived by his three sons and their families which includes Ryan Wallace and wife Brenda of Four Oaks, Tim Wallace of Smithfield and Mark Wallace and wife Kelly of Clayton.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions in Jimmy’s memory be made to the Building and Grounds Committee at Pisgah Baptist Church, 3689 NC Hwy 210, Smithfield, NC 27577.
