Kenly-John Wesley Gossett, Jr., 58, passed away Monday, December 30, 2019. Born in Torrance, California on March 19, 1961, he was the son of Rosemary Gossett and the late John Wesley Gossett, Sr.
John attended Park East Church of God in Goldsboro. He worked as a fork lift operator for QVC.
A service to celebrate John’s life will be held Monday, January 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Wesley Jarman officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
In addition to his mother, John is survived by his sons, Johnny Gossett and significant other, Blake Wright and children; and Jason Gossett and significant other, Lupita Leanos; grandchildren, Ryan, Brandon, and Jayden Gossett; great-granchild, Paytonn Gossett; siblings, Ken Gossett and wife, Lisa; Teri Selter and husband, Brett; and Ron Gossett; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
