Mr. Johnny Franklin Young, age 89, of Hodges Chapel Rd. passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at his residence. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 28 at 3 pm at Hodges Chapel Church Cemetery, Benson. The Rev. Ricky Lee will be officiating the service.
Mr. Young survivors include his wife, Peggy Jean Young, his sons, Johnny Shepard Young of Massachusetts, Claude Timothy Young and wife Gail of Smithfield and Tommy Franklin Young and wife Robin of Virginia; a step daughter, Julie Raynor and husband Jeff of Newton Grove; grandsons Tommy Young, Jr. and Timothy Robert Young and wife Michelle; and a sister, Claudette Hall of Raleigh.

A visitation for Mr. Young will be held on Tuesday, September 28 from 1:30 to 2:30 pm at Rose & Graham Funeral Home, the family will not be present for the visitation.
In accordance with NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W’s: wait, wash, and wear a face covering. Face coverings are not required, but are kindly recommended for all services.
