    Mrs. Juanita Ogburn Hudson, age 89, of 3068 Ebenezer Church Road died Sunday at Betsy Johnson Memorial Hospital in Dunn, NC. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday June 15th at Ebenezer Presbyterian Church with Reverend Jason Hammersley officiating. Burial will be at the church following the funeral service.
    Mrs. Hudson was born August 11, 1927 in Johnston County to the late Charles Millard Ogburn and Alda Green Ennis Ogburn. Mrs. Hudson is preceded in death by her husband, Mack Reid Hudson, son, Michael Reid Hudson. Mrs. Hudson was a homemaker, and life long member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church where she served as a elder. She was a lifetime supporter of 4-H in North Carolina and was an active member of her community garden club. Mrs. Hudson was actively involved in other non-profit organizations.
    Surviving are her son, Kent Ogburn Hudson, and wife, Jaroslava of Cary; grandchildren; Kent Hudson, Jr., and wife Kristine and great-grandchild Bridget; Heather H. May and husband, Ryan of Apex and great-grandchildren, Makayla, Bailey and Hudson; Brad and Jessica Hudson of Austin, Tx and great-granddaughter Sawyer; Jason Hudson of Austin; and Kelsey Hudson of Apex; sister, Joyce Oliver and husband, Maurice of Elizabeth City and sister-in-law, Joyce Turlington Ogburn of Lillington, and many nieces and nephews.
    Preceded in death are James Millard Ogburn (brother) and Juanita Sealy Ogburn; and John Ecklin Taylor and Doris Green Ogburn Taylor (sister); Donald Sherwood Ogburn (brother); George Walter Scott and Marjorie Grey Ogburn Scott (sister); Charles Hunter Ogburn (brother) and Mr. Franklin Douglas Ogburn (brother).
    The family will receive friends at the home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
