Judith Caroline Beasley Champion, 75, passed away at her home on Thursday, November 28, 2019. She was born July 08, 1944 to the late Herman Beasley and Julia Youngblood Beasley. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Randy Beasley, Tim Beasley, and Herman Beasley as well as a sister, Dean Wall. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 7:00 pm at the Wilson’s Mills Church of God at 4869 Wilson’s Mills Road, Clayton, NC 27520 with the Reverend Larry Hunt officiating. The burial will take place at 11:00 am, Thursday, December 5, 2019 in Hills of the Neuse Memorial Gardens, 98 Packing Plant Road, Smithfield, NC 27577.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the Wilson’s Mills Church of God, 4869 Wilson’s Mills Road, Clayton, NC 27520.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Wesley Champion; sons, Howard Joseph Wood, Jr. of Smithfield, Joseph Michael Champion of Wilmington, and Peter Jamison Champion of Wilmington; brother, Danny Beasley of Kernersville; sisters, Sally Carroll of Selma, Virginia Morris of Selma, and Betty Jones of Smithfield; five grandchildren, Joseph, Wesley, Dawn, Nikki, and J. T.; two great grandchildren, Brayden and Finley.
