Miss. Karen Bradley Spivey, age 43, of Surles Road died Monday, July 5, 2021 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be 3:00PM Friday, July 9, 2021 at Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Joe Brown. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Karen was born December 18, 1977 in Harnett County. She was preceded death by her maternal grandfather, Lenward Hayes and paternal grandmother, Marjorie Wallace. Karen loved life, people and started every day with a smile. Helen Keller’s quote the family believes describes her best, “ The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart.”
Surviving are her parents, Sylvia Hayes and Chris Wallace of Benson; brother, Scott Langdon of Benson; maternal grandmother, Lorease Hayes of Benson; aunt, Ann Raynor Barham and husband, Donnie of Benson; uncle, Mark Hayes and wife, Suzzan of Benson; cousins, Kelly Jarman and husband, Michael, Lori Turnage and husband, Brian, Heather Gerrell and Jimmy, Amber Hayes.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home of Mrs. Lorease Hayes.
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church, P.O. Box 423 Benson, NC 27504.
