Clayton – Katherine Jackson Stephenson, age 79, passed away Monday February 15, 2021. She was born in Johnston County on November 13, 1941 to the late Claudius and Annie Callahan Jackson.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by husband, William Stephenson; great granddaughter, Marley Campbell; son in law, Greg Crowder; brothers, Nelson and James Jackson; sister, Jo Ann Kolmonen; mother and father in law, Telza and Arthur Stephenson.
A graveside service will be conducted on Friday February 19, 2021 at 3 PM in Maplewood Cemetery in Clayton. The family will receive visitors at Parrish Funeral Home on Friday from 12 30 PM to 2 30 PM. Mrs.
Stephenson is survived by sons, Michael Stephenson and wife Sherry of Lumberton, Jeff Stephenson of Clayton; daughters, Jody Faircloth of Clayton, Debbie Crowder of Clayton, Bobbie Stephenson and husband James of Wake Forest; grandchildren, Patrick Stephenson, Riley Stephenson, Kelly O’Brien and husband Jason, Noah Crowder, Heather Faircloth, Joshua Ramsey, James Campbell Jr. and wife Kahrriyah, Zachary Campbell, Danielle Campbell, Hunter Stephenson, Makayla Stephenson, Emma Stephenson, William Stephenson; great grandchildren, Kayson O’Brien, Kaleigh Lawrence, Karter Lawrence, Kassidy Campbell, King James Campbell, Kameron Campbell, Kimber Campbell, Kash Campbell, Kannon Campbell.
Mrs. Stephenson was an avid reader and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
