Angier, NC: Mrs. Katherine “Elaine” Smith Reardon, age 67, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church, Angier. Officiating will be Rev. Timmy Blair. Burial will follow in Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Angier.
Mrs. Reardon was born on April 20, 1954 in Harnett County to the late Charlie Raeford and Julia Katherine Carroll Smith. She retired from TE Connectivity after 18 years of service and was a member of Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church in Angier.
Surviving include her husband of 41 years, James Reardon; daughter, April Honeycutt and husband, Arvin of Angier; granddaughter, Brittany Blanks and husband, Aaron of Angier; sister, Glenda Ducote and husband, George of Fuquay-Varina; brother, Ricky Smith and wife, Sharon of Angier; sister-in-law, Violet Humphreys of Wake Forest and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:30PM to 1:45PM on Sunday, December 5, 2021 prior to the service at Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church in Angier and other times at the home.
In accordance with NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W’s: wait, wash, and wear a face covering. Face coverings will be supplied and are encouraged for all services.
