Kimberly Rose Shutt, 49, of Princeton passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Kimberly was born on April 29, 1970 to Donnie Hugh and Vicky Marie Worley Medlin. Her funeral service will take place on Friday, June 21, 2019 at 6:00 pm in the Chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations in Princeton with the Reverend Jack Booth and Reverend Dennis Pollock officiating. The burial will take place on Saturday morning, June 22, 2019 at 10:00 am in the Progressive Church Cemetery in Princeton.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations.
Kim was always very active, she was a school bus driver in high school where she was also active in the schools FFA. Kim still holds the State Record for Bow Hunting Bob Cats. She was a member of the North Carolina Bow Archer Association. Kim stayed very busy in her church. She was a Youth Church Teacher, Youth Group Leader, Church Movie Night Leader, Bible School Teacher and also taught the 3-7 year old children.
Kim is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Arthur Shutt, Jr.; son, “Buddy” Timothy Sanders and wife, Kristy; grandchildren, “Boo” Hayden Sanders, Bentley Sanders and Madisyn Sanders; parents, Donnie Hugh and Vicky Marie Worley Medlin; sisters, Vicky Lynn Blackmon and husband, Alan and Amy Michelle Lipscomb and husband, Craig.
