Benson, NC: Mrs. Laura Johnson Hinson, age 77, of 5373 Red Hill Church Road passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at her residence. Funeral services will be 3:00PM, Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Red Hill PFWB Church outside Benson, NC. Officiating will be Revs. Randy Beasley and Curtiss Tatum. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Hinson was born in Harnett County, NC on April 21, 1944 to the late William Hugh and Lois Ennis Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Wayne Hinson. Mrs. Hinson was a retired Social Worker and was also a member of Red Hill PFWB Church. She was a member of the Lou Parrish Chapter of the Eastern Star.
Surviving include her daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Angela Hinson Quick and husband, James; son and daughter-in-law, William Amos Hinson and wife, Tracey Krause Hinson; grandchildren, Taylor Lauren Hinson Smith and husband, Taylor, Leah Brook Hinson; sisters, Susan J. King; and Ann J. Rose and husband, Nelson; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 6:00PM – 8:00PM, Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC and other times at the home.
Mask are not required, however, they are recommended for all services.
