Mr. Leon Dew was born in Wayne County, NC January 16, 1950 his parents were Levi and Idellar Dew.
Leon attended public schools in the Wayne and Johnston County School Systems. He worked for the Kenly 95 Petro for 27 years. Mr. Dew transitioned on Thursday May 2, 2019 after a brief illness at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 27 years Sharon Dew, two brothers; Willie Dew, Benny (Janice) Dew, five sisters; Evon (Amos) Armstrong, Mary Jones, Iwanda Davis, Brenda Dew, Linda (Andria) Howard, other relatives and friends.
Services are scheduled for Thursday May 9, 2019 at Tabernacle of Prayer 1005 S. John Street Goldsboro, NC. Viewing will be held at the church on Thursday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am with a “Celebration Of Life” starting at 11:00 am.
