Angier – Linda Lee Jernigan Dudley, age 56, died Tuesday, August 13, 2019 in UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield. Born April 20, 1963 she was a daughter of Raeford Capps of Dunn, Faye Evans Jernigan of Benson and the late Bobby Jernigan. Linda attended Garner Church of God.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2019 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. J.D. Hudson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Friday just prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Faye Jerningan.
Surviving in addition to her mother and father are her husband, Thad Dudley; sons, Michael “Buck” Blackman and wife Tiffany of Erwin and Kaleb Miller of Angier; daughter, Crystal Blackman and fiancé Justin Knuckles of Benson; grandchildren, Joshua Wilson, Connor Knuckles, Raylen Blackman, Evelyn Blackman, and Khristian Edwards; brothers, Brian Jernigan of Benson and Ricky Jernigan and wife Teresa of Coats; sisters, Teresa Cook of Four Oaks and Cindy Herring and husband Jay of Dunn; father and mother-in-law, Gary and Candie Dudley; and many nieces and nephews.
