Smithfield – Linwood Charles Hamilton, age 71, died Sunday, February 12, 2017 at his home. Born October 21, 1945 in Johnston County he was a son of the late Hunter and Flossie Stanley Hamilton. Linwood was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Lena Hamilton of the home; son, Barry Hamilton and wife Kristy of Pine Level; grandchildren, Chase Hamilton and Brooke Hamilton; step grandchildren, Jackson Adams and Taylor Adams; and several brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
