Selma – Loretta Ann Petit, age 68, died Monday, July 23, 2018 at her home. Born September 12, 1949 in Johnston County she was a daughter of the late Johnny Hocutt and Rachel Marie Williams Petit. Loretta loved to craft baby dolls and picture frames.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2018 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Joe B. Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Price Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Thursday just prior to the service.
Surviving are her lifetime companion, Foy Sowers of Princeton; sons, Clee Ross, Jr. and wife Chrystal, and Christopher Ross and wife Mariah, all of Pine Level; daughters, Rachel Lundry of Selma, Virginia Gale Ellis of Middlesex, and Christy Ross of Pine Level; brothers, Luther “Buddy” Petit and wife Reba of Johnston City, TN, and Johnny Hocutt “J.J.” Petit, Jr. of Middlesex; sisters, Bonnie Worley and husband Tom of Middlesex, and Debra “Debbie” Petit of Selma; fourteen grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
