Coats, NC: Mrs. Joanne Bryant Stone of Coats, born April 13, 1951, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2019 with her beloved family by her side. Funeral Service will be held at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Coats on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Ricky Manning officiating. Burial will follow at Stones Creek Advent Christian Church Cemetery in Benson.
Joanne worked for approximately 10 years with Beacon Rescue Mission Thrift Stores. During her time there, she always took time to pass along an encouraging word and to pray with anyone that asked her to do so. Joanne was a woman of strong faith and she shared her love of Jesus with everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel “Smokey Bryant; her mother, Gladys Bryant; sister, Laverne Bryant; and Father in Law, Talmadge Ravon Stone.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Stone; and mother -in-law, Wilma Stone of the home; daughter, Tammy Barrow of Coats; son-in- law, Charles “Rabbit” Barrow of Coats; Danny Gregory, Jr. of Maury County, NC; Daughter-in-law, Robin Hayes (William) of Coats and Step-daughter, Sonja Stone of Raleigh. Brother, Gary Bryant of Greenleaf Care Center, Lillington, NC; Sister, Joan Norris and husband Hugh of Newton Grove; Sister, Shirley Faircloth and husband Kenneth of Coats. She is also survived by two very special granddaughters that have provided her continual love, support and care throughout her illness. Sarah Lackey Jacobs (Anthony) of Coats, Karla Danyell Dayton (Ron) of Willow Spring. She is survived by 5 additional Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren and Several nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Coats.
