Benson, NC: Mrs. Margaret M. Maynard, age 81, of 1126 W. Pope Street died Monday, March 2, 2020 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. Rev. Stoney Chance will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Maynard was born on January 4, 1939 in Harnett County to the late Andrew M. and Louanna Maynard Maynor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Talmadage Maynard; sisters, Anna Maynard, Jackie Maynard, and Vivian Maynard. Mrs. Maynard retired from Chicopee in Benson.
Surviving include daughter & son-in-law, Dinah Maynard & Mike Monds of Mt. Morris, Michigan; sons & daughters-in-law, Travis Martin & Sharon Maynard of Four Oaks, Ottis Patrick & Tina Maynard of Benson, and Clifton Lynn & Christy Maynard of Benson; grandchildren, Tabitha Pacheco, Jonathan Maynard, Michaeal Monds, Melissa O’Brien, Jeremy Monds, Miranda Maynard, Casey McNeely, Jaret Maynard, Travis Reese Maynard, Brooklyn Maynard, Braylee Maynard, Toni Kent, Chase Kent; great grandchildren, Kayla Pacheco, Alyssa Cogburn, Candace Pacheco, Evean Stranz, Jordan Maynard, Jamie Maynard, Jeffery O’ Brien, and Isabella O’Brien; and great -great grandson, Jace Johnson; sister, Eleanor Maynard of Dunn, Dorothy Maynor of Star, NC, Sylvia Tyndall of Thomasville, NC; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Wednesday, March 4, 2020 and other times at the home.
