Selma – Marjorie Jones Eason, age 94, died Wednesday, May 31, 2017 in Autumn Care of Nash in Nashville. Born February 13, 1923 in Johnston County she was a daughter of the late Rhem T. and Ethel Bunn Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Milton “Will” Eason; and four siblings, Rachel Babinec, Veda Eason, Josephine Capps, and Clara Struebig. Marjorie was a member of Live Oak Baptist Church in Selma.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service. A private family entombment will be held in Selma Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are her son, Neal Eason and wife Donna of Trinity; daughter, Judy Johnson and husband Cecil of Rocky Mount; brother, R.T. Jones of Selma; sisters, Pat Taylor of Selma, Carolyn Murray of Selma, Lou Goldman of Selma, and Shelby Spillare of Florida; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
