    Selma – Marjory Topping Howell Wagner Regan, age 65, died Sunday evening November 10, 2019 form injuries received in an automobile accident. Born November 16, 1953 in Buffalo, NY to the late James G. and Marjory Topping Howell Williams, she was the widow of Paul J. Regan.
    Marjory was a US Army veteran, serving in the 24th Military Police Company, 24th Infantry Division as a Combat Military Police Officer involved with physical security issues. She was the first woman of the first platoon of a combat military police unit. Following her Honorable Discharge, she worked for the Depart. of Justice / Federal Bureau of Prisons as a Contracting Officer with an Unlimited Warrant, responsible for cradle to grave construction of federal prisons. After her retirement, she moved to Selma, NC, to be with her only child. While in Selma she was appointed to the Selma Board of Directors for the Parks and Recreation Department. A job that she took very seriously. She served as a Girl Scout Co-Leader with Coastal Pines Troop 2016, which consisted of Daisy, Brownie, Junior, Cadette and Senior members. As an author and researcher, for the past 17 years, she has written a 1200 word monthly article “The Dusti Geni” for the “After 50 Magazine” which is distributed throughout Western NY State. Marjory had a passion for genealogy that prompted her to investigate and later join the Williams Mills Chapter NSDAR of Williamsville, New York on 22 August 2005. She transferred to Smith-Bryan NSDAR from her chapter in NY when she moved to Selma. A life-long learner, she received her Doctor of Juris Prudence from Taft Law School in Santa Monica, CA in 2013.
    The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date in NY.
    Surviving are her son, Stephen H. Wagner, Sr. and wife Angel of Selma, NC and 3 grandchildren, Alex Howell Wagner of Wilmington, NC and Hailey Maree Wagner and Stephen H. Wagner, Jr. both of Selma, NC.
