Marsha Lyn Muiter Kirkey, 51, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017. Marsha was born on September 24, 1965 in Allegheny County, PA, daughter of the late William Harry Groom and Marilyn McElroy Jordan. She was a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. Marsha loved her dogs and she was an avid motorcyclist.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday January 23, 2017 at Underwood Funeral Home in Smithfield. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 PM until 2 PM prior to the service.
Surviving are : husband, Albert Kirkey; son, Daniel Muiter of Smithfield; mother and step-father, Marilyn and Ronald Jordan of Butler, PA; brother, Bill Groom and wife Brenda of Englewood, FL; sister, Michele Patterson and husband Scott of Beaver Falls, PA; step-sons, Albert Kirkey, III and wife Dori of Mount Holly, NJ, Matthew Kirkey of Jacksonville, NC; step-grandchildren, Kyan Kirkey and Brayden Kirkey.
Marsha was preceded in death by her son, Bradley Scott Muiter in 2014.
