Benson, NC: Mrs. Mary Frances Colville Stewart, age 83, of NC 242 North died Sunday, April 21, 2019 at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Benson, NC. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Jerome Pope. Burial will follow in Benson City Cemetery.
Mrs. Stewart was born February 16, 1936 in Harnett County to the late William Horace and Mary Lucille Wright Colville. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Paul Lucas, Marcellus Gilbert, Sr. and Thomas Earl Stewart; daughter, Pricilla Fife; sisters, Lillian Bond and Hilda; and brother, William. Mrs. Stewart was a homemaker and member of Bethsaida Primitive Baptist Church, Benson.
Surviving include her children, Mary Razabdouski and husband, David of Fuquay Varina, Shirley Hall, Horace Lucas and Marcellus Gilbert, Jr. and wife, Kim Gilbert all of Benson, Alvin Ray Gilbert and wife, Marilyn of Dunn; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM – 8:00PM Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home of Marc and Kim Gilbert, 4000 NC 50 North, Benson, NC 27504.
