Mary Janice Massengill, age 77, of Four Oaks passed away on October 29, 2017. Born in Johnston County on August 31, 1940, she was the daughter of the late William Raymond and Elizabeth Hayes Massengill. Janice was a longtime member of Smithfield Church of God.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 2, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. Burial will follow in Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens.
Surviving are her nieces and nephews, Beverly Garner, Cynthia Allen and husband Lonnie, Tammy Rosales, Phil Massengill and wife Deanna, Lee Massengill and wife Tonya; and “Nan-Nan’s” great nieces, Tiffany and Logan Massengill.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday night from 6 to 8 PM.
