Clayton – Mary Lorene Aleshire, age 91, passed away at Smithfield Manor on June 27, 2019. Born July 6, 1927 in Johnston County to the late William and Mary Arnold Seawell. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Aleshire is also preceeded in death by husband, Alfred Cecil Aleshire; Son, Stephen “Joe” Aleshire; Several brothers and sisters. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday June 29, 2019 at 3 PM at Wilsons Mills Baptist church with Billy Lawson officiating. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Selma Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Aleshire is survived by Daughters, Mary Catherine of Punta Gorda, FL, Jackie “Stella” Jones and husband Joe of Clayton; Grandchildren, Mary Jay Brown and husband Lance of Selma, Christopher Jones and wife Mahealani of Greensboro; Great grandchildren, Aidan Jones of Clayton, Elizabeth and Julia of Stone of Selma.
