Mary Teresa Martinez Rollins, age 85, died Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Smithfield Manor Nursing Home. She was born September 30, 1935 in San Antonia, TX, to the late Victoriano Sanchez and Sanjuana Rodriguez Martinez.
The family will receive friends Monday, July 12, 2021, at Parrish Funeral Home, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Joseph E. Rollins; son, Tim Rollins and wife Carol of Durham; daughters, Cynthia McInnis and husband Stan and Terry Starlin all of Selma and Olga Shewmaker of Castle Rock, CO; sisters, Olga Espinoza, Gloria Stewart and Helen Pena all of San Antonio, TX ; twelve grandchildren, Charlie McInnis, Amy Johnson, Jennifer McInnis, Stephanie Thompson, Victoria Heath, Brittany Holbrook, Maria Johnson, Mark Shewmaker, Stephanie Shewmaker, David Shewmaker, Joe Rollins and Haley Williams; twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to either St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Shriners Hospitals for Children, Attn: Office of Development, 2900 N.
