Maryann Pindell “Lois” Dean, age 74, died Monday, September 13, 2021 at Wilson Medical Center. Born January 19, 1947 in Baltimore, MD to the late Gilbert Ellsworth and Nora Pauline Cassell Pindell, she was preceded in death by a son, John William Moore, Jr.; a daughter, Joyce Lynn Moore; a brother, William Pindell and two sisters, Doris Pegram and Wendy Smith.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September, 20, 2021 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with the Rev. Jasper Renfrow officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery near Princeton. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. just prior to the service.
Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Jerry Vance Dean; sons, Michael John Pindell of Pine Level and Robert Lee “Bobby” Moore and companion Amy Overman of Smithfield and Timothy Braxton Dean and wife Cindy of Kenly; brother, Harry Pindell of Knightdale; five grandchildren, Kayla Moore, Emma Waggoner, Adyson Waggoner, Kimberly Dean and Derrick Dean and two great-grandchildren, Gracie Dean and Waylon Dean.
