Michael Allen Williams, 62, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 10, 2020. Michael was born July 16, 1958 in Duplin County, North Carolina to the late Mercer Franklin Williams and Jeannette Barnette Williams.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations in Princeton with Reverend Jimmy Lambert officiating. The committal will take place in Princeton Cemetery on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 10:00 am.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations.
Mr. Williams was raised in the Kenansville community and graduated in 1976 from James Kenan High School. He studied Ministry/Biblical Studies at Covenant Theological Seminary at Greenville, NC. After graduating Mr. Williams became an ordained minister. Over the past years, he has pastored at Carroll Street PFWB Church in Magnolia, NC and Free Chapel PFWB in Goldsboro, NC. In recent years, he ministered through his website “Be Encouraged” and prior through his website “The Way the Truth and the Life”.
He is survived by his wife, Tina Williams; son, Jamie Allen Williams of Kinston; stepdaughters, Jessica Mellen of Greenville, Rachel Cummings of Goldsboro, and Kalina Davis of Princeton; grandchildren, Sylas Williams, Tyson Williams, Jacob Williams, Kristopher Cummings, Khl0e Cummings and Kynzleigh Cummings.
