Michael Todd Daughtry (Todd) 50 of Clayton, NC passed away peacefully Dec. 1st at Wake Med Hospital while surrounded by family.
Todd was born January 22, 1971 in Jacksonville NC. He graduated from Jacksonville Sr. High School and also received a BA from East Carolina University in Culinary and Hospitality.
He was an ECU Pirate fan, he loved Nascar and the Pittsburg Steelers.
He was loved by many and had a big heart. He was a Master Mason and a member of Fellowship Lodge 84 in Smithfield NC, and on occasion he was the Pink Panther in some of the parades with the Smithfield Shine Club.
Todd will be remembered by his friends and family for his great cooking and passion for fishing.
He is survived by his sons Andrew Daughtry and wife Paige, Chandler Daughtry and wife Whittanie, and Brenden Daughtry, and the love of his life his new grandson Lucas. Also survived by his parents Mandy and Debbie Daughtry of Jacksonville, mother Ginger Sewell of Wilmington, brothers Bryan Daughtry of Maui HI, Jason Daughtry and Jeff Daughtry of Jacksonville. A special uncle Scott Daughtry of Selma and many other uncles, aunts, and nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at Parrish Funeral Home 1351 S. Pollock St., Selma, NC Saturday December 4th at 11:00 AM with visitation at 10:00 AM prior to the service. There will be a Masonic graveside service at the Creech Cemetery at Creech’s Mill Rd., Smithfield NC.
