Wilson’s Mills – Minnie Aletha Corbett Lee Ennis, age 81, died Thursday, December 14, 2017 in the UNC Johnston Health of Smithfield. Born December 15, 1935 in Johnston County to the late Junius Leon and Allie Ellen Batten Corbett, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Lee on November 10, 1972.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 18, 2017 in the Believer’s Baptist Church, where she was an active member. The Rev. Ray Corbett will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Knollwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. just prior to the service.
Surviving are her husband, Johnnie Lee Ennis; son, Wayne Lee and wife Sarah Ann of Wilson’s Mills; daughter, Tracie Lee Brewer and husband William of Selma; step-daughters, Betsy Ennis and husband Art Pina of Clayton and Janice Marie Watkins and husband Donnie of Kenly; brothers, J. L. Corbett of Washington and Curtis Corbett of Cary; sisters, Lissie McNamee of Clayton and Edna Pickrell of Morehead, KY; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
