Four Oaks, NC: Ms. Myrtle Honeycutt Lee, age 95, died Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Smithfield Manor Nursing Center in Smithfield. Graveside funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at Four Oaks City Cemetery. Rev. John Norman will officiate.
Ms. Lee was born on August 30, 1923, in Durham County to the late Herbert Patrick, Sr. and Ada Byrd Honeycutt. She was preceded in death by her brothers, H.P. Honeycutt, Jr. and Frankie Honeycutt. Ms. Lee was a retired secretary with the State of North Carolina and was a member of First Baptist Church of Four Oaks.
Surviving include her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah L. and Jimmy Coats of Four Oaks; sons and daughter-in-law, William Dale and Sarah Lee of Clayton and Daniel E. Lee of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Jason Coats, Dan Lee, Jr., Anna Lee, Andrew Lee and Matthew Lee; great-grandchildren, Caroline Coats, Connor Lee and Wellons Lee; and nephew: Nick Honeycutt of Wake Forest.
The public may pay their respect to Ms. Lee on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, from 9:00 AM-12:30 PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks prior to the graveside service.
