Selma – Nancy Merle West Goolsby, age 80, died early Thursday morning, July 11, 2019 in the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Born May 2, 1939 in Holmes County, FL she was a daughter of the late Lawrence Leonard and Nancy Lorena Tew West. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Goolsby; and sons, Ricky Goolsby and Rodney Goolsby.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 14, 2019 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Selma Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home just prior to the service.
Surviving are her sons, Randy Goolsby of Princeton, and Ron Goolsby and wife Ann of Northville, MI; daughter, Lisa Minter and husband Ronald of Sanford; brothers, Bruce West of Graceville FL and Zeno West of Orlando, FL; sister, Era Weeks of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren, Claire Goolsby, Kenny Goolsby, Jay Minter, Justin Minter, and Rebecca Goolsby; and three great grandchildren.
