Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Norman Steve Barbour, age 73, passed away on Wednesday July 29, 2020, at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield. A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Pauline Baptist Church Cemetery, Four Oaks, NC. Revs. Marshall Stewart and David Sutphin will officiate.
Mr. Barbour was born on August 11, 1946 in Johnston County to the late Shelton and Mavis Beasley Barbour. He was preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Barbour. Mr. Barbour was a retired industrial mechanic and was a member of Pauline Baptist Church. He was US Navy Veteran serving during Vietnam and was member of Four Oaks American Legion.
Surviving include his wife of 53 years, Ann Adams Barbour; sons, Jeffery Keith Barbour of St. Louis, and Jason Barbour and wife, Tracy of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Emerald Brooke Barbour, Melissa Marie Barbour and Lilian Faith Barbour; faithful companion, Zoey.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service at Pauline Baptist Church on Saturday.
Flowers are welcomed; however memorials may be sent to Four Oaks American Legion.
