Norwood “Woody” Vaden Woodard, age 82, died Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Village Green Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born June 10, 1938 in Johnston County he was a son of the late James Franklin and Annie Marie Phillips Woodard. Woody was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Augusta, GA.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 2021 in Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Dwayne Carter officiating. A private burial will be conducted at Hephzibah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Surviving are his son, Randy Woodard of Angier; daughter, Melanie Logue and husband Kevin of Heath, TX; brother, James Elton Woodard and wife Glenda of Dunn; and grandchildren, Ryan Woodard of IL, Aly Woodard of IL, Chris Logue of TX, Michael Logue of MD, and Amber Logue of TN.
