Patsy Bridgers Dixon, 88, of Princeton passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC. She was born in Wayne County on July 29, 1930 to the late Albert Austin Bridgers and Juanita Talton Bridgers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Martin Dixon. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 7:00 PM with the Reverend Dennis Pollock officiating. The burial will take place on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 in Princeton Cemetery at 10:00 AM.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations and at other times at the home of Marlene Wiggins, 7418 Hickory Crossroads Road, Princeton, NC 27569.
She is survived by sons, Tony Dixon and Rocky Dixon of Princeton; daughter, Marlene Wiggins of Princeton; sister, Peggy Brown of Statesville; brothers, Braxton Bridgers of Alabama and Walter Bridgers of Pikeville; grandchildren, Mary Wiggins, Olivia Dixon Thompson, Berri Wiggins Johnson, Leslie Dixon Barbee, Dara Gibson, Cody Dixon, Hunter Dixon and Nicholas Dixon; great grandchildren, Spencer, Christian, Ryan, Cullen, Zack, Jordan, Gavin, Alex, Greyson, Casey, Mason and Will.
