Wendell – Paul Timothy Altstaetter, age 33, died Thursday morning at his home. Born February 7, 1985 in Prince George’s County, MD, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, David Altstaetter, his maternal grandparents, William & Doris Eason and his paternal grandfather, Charles Altstaetter. Paul was a member of the Heritage Baptist Church in Zebulon and loved to fish and spend time with his daughters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with Pastor David Dupree officiating. Burial will follow in the Scott Family Cemetery on the Princeton-Kenly Road near Kenly.
Surviving Paul are his daughters, Maria Altstaetter and Brooke Altstaetter of the home and their mother Tiffany Mitchell of Kenly; parents, Dennis and Nancy Altstaetter of Wendell; sister, Kacie Altstaetter of Wendell and his paternal grandmother, Louise Altstaetter of Lima, OH.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. just prior to the service.
