Benson, NC: Mrs. Pauline Ray Baucom, age, 83, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Magnolia Assisted Living Center in Clinton. Graveside Service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, July 3, 2020 at Harnett Devotional Gardens. Revs. Jerry Stephenson and Tim Cowan, Jr. will officiate.
Mrs. Baucom was born on April 15, 1937 in Wake County to the late Linus Ray and Maggie Gouch Ray. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Phillip Baucom, Sr., and her son David Eugene Baucom. She was a retired sales clerk and was a homemaker. She was a member of Vandora Springs Free Will Baptist Church in Garner.
Surviving include her children, Leonard Phillip Baucom, Jr. of Benson; Ken Baucom Lucido of Florida; Christopher Dale Baucom of Benson; Carol Baucom Parrish of Smithfield, and Bonnie Sue Martin of Benson; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren; brother, James Linus Ray, Jr. of Knightdale and a sister, Frances Manshack of Fuquay Varina; many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are welcomed to visit Phillip Baucom’s home, 433 Turlington Drive, Benson, NC 27504.
Flowers are welcomed, however, memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity.
