Peggy Jane Radford Sheetz, age 76, of Kenly, passed away at Johnston Health on September 30, 2017. Born in Wayne County on February 17, 1941, she was the daughter of Burden Simpson and Lillian Bedford Radford. She was also preceded in death by two brothers Simp Radford, Jr. and Ralph Radford. Mrs. Sheetz was a dedicated employee of Kenly Medical Associates for many years and was a member of Fellowship United Methodist Church and the Red Hat Society.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 3, at 11:00 AM in Fellowship United Methodist Church with burial following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Monday, Oct. 2, from 6 to 8 PM.
Surviving are her children, Robby Sheetz and Kim of Selma, Lisa Robey and Robert of Leesburg, VA; sisters Sandra Radford Stallings and Mildred Radford Whitley, both of Selma; and grandchildren Tony, Casey, Brittany, Andrew, Jacob, Logan, Emma, Austin, and Bladen; and great grandchildren Emerson, Remington and Berkley.
