Selma – Peggy Tew Johnson, age 74, passed away on Tuesday October 19, 2021 surrounded by her family. A graveside service will be held on Friday October 22, 2021 at 12 PM in White Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Willow Spring.
Ms. Johnson was born on January 4, 1947 in Raleigh, NC to the late Worth Tew and Beatrice S. Dobbs. Ms. Johnson was a retired certified nursing assistant and medical technician. She worked at several long term care facilities including Autumn Home in Selma, Stage Coach nursing home and Oak Hill Nursing home in Angier.
Surviving include, son, Stephen Champion; brother, Worth Tew Jr of Roper; sister, Kaye Dixon and husband Robert of Selma, Joy Cox and husband Rick of Angier.
The family wants to thank the caring staff at Johnston UNC Health in Smithfield. They ensured Peggy’s care was exceptional and her passing was peaceful.
