Mr. Perry Emerson Hines, AKA “Peter Rabbit” age 62 of Smithfield, NC passed away Saturday December 28, 2019 at the Durham VA Medical Center. Peter Rabbit was born March 16, 1957 in Sampson County NC. He attended Johnston County Schools and was a 1976 graduate of Smithfield-Selma Sr. High School. Following high school Mr. Hines joined the US Army where he served honorably until his discharge.
Services for Mr. Perry E. “Peter Rabbit” Hines are scheduled for Saturday January 4, 2019 at Shiloh Christian Church 211 Durham St., Smithfield, NC. Viewing from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon with funeral services at 12 noon. Interment services at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery Goldsboro, NC.
