Princeton – Ralph Erwin Massengill, age 78, died Wednesday, October 13, 2021, in Kitty Askins Hospice in Goldsboro. Born March 26, 1943, in Johnston County, he was the son of the late Ralph Elmer and Hazel Watkins Massengill. Erwin was a member of Niagara Pentecostal Holiness Church in Kenly.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 18, 2021, in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Stan Jones, Rev. Margaret Britt, and Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating. Burial will follow in Bizzell Grove Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening, October 17, 2021, at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.
Surviving are his wife, Janice Massengill; sons, Clint Massengill and wife Luise Weinrich of Monterey, MA and Mark Massengill and wife Ginger of Princeton; sisters, Helen Williams of Raleigh and Phyllis Daughtry of Dunn; and grandchildren, Savanna Massengill of Princeton, Macy Massengill of Raleigh, and Dalton Massengill of Princeton.
