    SELMA – Randall Elliott “Randy” Liverman, age 65, died Thursday morning January 12, 2017 in LifeCare Hospital of Rocky Mount following a period of declining health. Born August 20, 1951 in Edgecombe County to the late Murray Clemmons and Eva Lela Harris Liverman, he was preceded in death by both of his brothers, Murray Clemmons Liverman, Jr. and Jack Henry Liverman. Randy was employed with BB&T for 37 years, most of his years worked in Selma. He served in the US Air Force as a Vietnamese translator and was a member of the Selma Kiwanis Club and Selma Baptist Church.
    A graveside service will be conducted Monday, January 16, 2017 in the Oak City Cemetery with the Rev. Rick Carson, a childhood friend, officiating.
    Surviving are his wife, Jennifer Stalls Liverman; daughters, Kelley Liverman Hardin of Selma and Casey Liverman Johnson and husband Randy of Four Oaks; four grandchildren, Dylan Hardin, Madison Hardin, Carly Rae Johnson and Cara Johnson; special brother-in-law, Doug Stalls of Four Oaks; nephew, Jeff Liverman and wife Marcia of Tuscon, AZ; nieces, Cathe Bragg and husband Bud of Fort Worth, TX and Susan Farmer and husband Scott of Williamston and several great and great great nieces and nephews.
    The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2017 in the Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.
