Raquel Ann Kornegay Connell, age 50, died early Wednesday morning, November 10, 2021 at her home. Born November 21, 1970 she was a daughter of Peggy Talton Kornegay of Princeton and the late Carroll Gregg Kornegay. She was preceded in death by her brother, Carroll Gregg Kornegay, II.
Raquel was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Smithfield. Raquel loved all types of music from Eminem to 80’s metal.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her sons, Vince Connell of Wilson and Sebastian Connell of Selma; sister, Michelle Kornegay of Princeton; and granddaughter, Kelsey Connell.
