Smithfield, NC: Mrs. Rena Stanley Allen, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Smithfield Manor Nursing Center in Smithfield, NC. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Piney Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Four Oaks, NC. Revs. Baris Lanier and Murray King will officiate.
Mrs. Allen was born on July 3, 1934 in Johnston County to the late Elbert and Pauline Caudill Stanley. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Earnest W. Stewart and Raymond H. Allen. She retired from the Fieldcrest Store in Smithfield and was a member of Piney Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughters, Pat Benson and husband, Wayne of Selma, Beth Godwin and husband, Jerry of Selma; grandchildren, Corey Wendell Benson of Coats and Chadwick Scott Hicks of Cary; great-grandchildren, Oliver Scott Hicks and Cora Sloane Hicks of Cary; sisters, Hilda S. Lawrence and husband, Levi of Four Oaks, Katie S. Woodall and husband, Larry of Smithfield, Alice S. Bailey and husband, C. V. of Selma; brother, Willis Elbert Stanley of Benson; many nieces and nephews.
Due to the current health concerns the family understands if you are not able to join them for the services. Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated.
Mrs. Allen will be available for viewing, and you will be able to sign the register book on Friday, May 29, 2020 from 12:00PM – 5:00PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks. The family will not be present during this time.
