Garner, NC: Mr. Robert Earl “Buck” McLamb, age 73, of 1824 Lancaster Drive died Saturday at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Ronnie Jones. Burial will follow in Hodges Chapel Church Cemetery, Benson.
Mr. McLamb was born on November 20, 1944 in Johnston County to the late Milton “Bill” and Matrice Young McLamb. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Billy Ray McLamb. Mr. McLamb was a retired warehouse superintendent for Winn Dixie Store’s Incorporated and was a member of Garner Advent Christian Church.
Survivors include wife of fifty three years, Gloria Parker McLamb; son and daughter-in-law, Tracy Earl and Dee Dee Moore McLamb of Garner; grandsons, Eric McLamb and wife, Leah and Quentin McLamb and wife, Kristen; great grandchildren, Ethan Earl McLamb, Emma McLamb, Skylar McLamb, Laynah McLamb, Carson Ryals and Kylie Guerrero; brother, Milton “Shorty” McLamb of Indian Trail, NC; sisters, Shirley Smith of Fuquay Varina, Linda Collier of Louisburg, NC and Brenda Bass of Fuquay Varina; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 10:00 AM – 10:45AM Tuesday prior to the service and other times at the home.
