PRINCETON – Robert Gene Disher, age 52, died Monday morning in WakeMed of Raleigh. Born August 11, 1966 in Johnston County, he was a son of Nora Frances Handy Gower of Hendersonville and the late Sherwood Gene Disher. He attended the Bridge church near Princeton.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife of 19 years, Christy L. Disher; sons, Joseph Disher and wife Jacqueline of Dinwiddie, VA, William Ayala, Jr. and girlfriend, Sierra Dove and R. J. Disher and girlfriend, Chastity Price all of Princeton; daughter, Katie Miller and boyfriend, Chance Anderson of Petersburg, VA; brothers, B. J. Riggs of Dinwiddie, VA and Justin Williams and one granddaughter, Raven Anderson.
