Smithfield, NC: Mr. Robert Young Barbour, age 67, of 806 N. Johnson Road died Thursday, March 5, 2020 at his home in Smithfield. Funeral Service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Pastor Chris Casey. Burial will follow in the Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens, Smithfield.
Mr. Barbour was born on April 10, 1952 in Johnston County to Robert Earl and Annie Green Barbour of Clayton. He was owner and operator of Barbour’s Machine Works for 27 years.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife of 50 years, Teresa Williams Barbour of Smithfield; daughter, Tracie Worley and husband, Michael of Smithfield; son, Paul Barbour and wife, Jenny of Clayton; grandchildren, Macy Worley, Meagan Worley, Grant Barbour, Allie Barbour; brother, Jackie Barbour of Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 2:00PM to 2:45PM prior to the service at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks and other times at the home.
