Benson, NC: Mr. Rodney Maylon McLamb, age 57, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at UNC Rex Healthcare. Funeral Services will be 3:00PM-Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Revs. Wanda Berrier and Michael Lee will officiate. Burial will follow in Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery, Benson, NC.
Rodney was born on May 19, 1964 in Harnett County, NC to Maylon and Katie McLamb. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie and Lillie Pearl McLamb and Carson and Velma McLamb and a niece, Kaylon Lynette McLamb. He was the co-owner of McLamb’s Auto Sales. He loved fishing, riding his motorcycle, cooking for family and friends. Rodney loved life.
Surviving in addition to his parents include his wife, Robin Langdon McLamb; children, Jordan Lee McLamb and Lance Carson McLamb; step-son, Stephen Langdon and wife, Lorenda; grandchildren, Jaxon Maylon McLamb, Lennex Lee McLamb; step-grandson, Foster Reid Langdon; sisters, Francesca “Fran” McLamb and husband, Dean, Michelle McLamb and special friend, Gary; niece, Karson McLamb and nephew, Cayden McLamb.
The family will receive friends 1:30PM-2:45PM-Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC and other times at the home of Maylon and Katie McLamb, 990 Five Points Road, Benson, NC 27504. Flowers are welcomed.
In accordance with NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W’s: wait, wash, and wear a face covering. Face coverings are not required, but are kindly recommended for all services.
